Toys loaned to children for a week through the DPSS.
The program was started in 1935 and is run by volunteers in parks, recreation centers, libraries and two in homeless/transitional shelters.
Children are loaned toys for a week at a time and are given points of credit for returning the toys in good condition. After 20 points the children become “Honor Borrowers” who are given a free toy as a reward.
I will find a link to the website later (I am in a meeting), or contact me and I will collect new toys from you for the donation barrel in my office
