Poor People – You Have to Speak Up!

Kiss your Cash Aid Good-bye. I know it still leaves you at less than 50% of the Federal Poverty Line, but that Cash Aid may be all you have or it may supplement SSI, or employment. Sometimes the $210 – $694 or so you receive means you can buy school supplies and clothes for your children or keep a roof over your head.

I know there is a stigma to being poor – but HELLO – it’s a recession, more of us are poor than ever right now.  Speak up about how the assistance you recieve helps you and your family.
