Last month The Bold and the Beautiful started new story line including the homeless in Los Angeles. The story line wasn’t a one or two day event – it is on going. It made a splash on the news and shook the chatboards. I heard a lot of “Good for them” or “It was all for the Emmy’s” and some “I didn’t know that was a real problem, wow!”‘s.
Now I want to know … after you sat down to view… what did you do?
What are you willing to do?
Here are some easy, and some fun suggestions.
EVERYWHERE: Go to your local Food Pantry, Mission, or outreach agency with any or al of these items: Canned Meats/Tuna , Canned Vegetables, Canned Fruits Pumpkin Pie Filling ,Hearty Soups Stuffing Mix Beans , Cranberry Sauce, Canned Chili, Corn Bread/Biscuit Mix, Marshmallows ,Gravy Mix, Cereals (Cold & Hot),Jams & Jellies, Cake/Cookie Mixes, Salad Dressing ,Frosting, Yams, Jello
The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign will begin Nov. 17. Locally, the goal is $650,000, which pays for family Christmas programs, but also covers costs for services year-round.
— You know someone who has less than you do. Leave an anonymous bag of groceries or clothes on their porch. Sometimes a good ol’ Fashioned “Ding Dong Ditch” can be a good thing.
