Last year when @metlife would not answer my disability claim, I applied for foodstamps so this is still fresh with me.
Food Stamps are provided by the Department of Agriculture -as I point out to people who need to file a complaint.
Welfare fraud and food stamp fraud among recipients is very rare and doesn’t cost the program a significant amount of money, but thanks to ideas like Welfare Queen and the demonization of poor folks -I hear debates about drug testing recipients all the time.
It turns out that the expensive defrauders are farmers.
