Passive office aggressions

I’ve been asking for 6 months for a new printer or replacement parts to make this one work.

I was told it is no big deal and I could “live with it”.

Huh.
The IT guy found it to be a huge deal and “I can’t work like this” was shouted from his desk this morning.

Why?
I took my broken printer drawer and swapped it out for his.
